How to start Microsoft Edge Browser in RocketdockMS never make things easy for 3rd party customisers, it is deliberate I am sure. In previous versions of Windows it is possible to start up the browser from the command line by simply invoking the name of the exectuable, ie. iexplore.exe but not in Windows 10... Some simple research shows that many others are having similar problems. It seems hard enough just trying to start the browser from the command line and although various methods have been found, getting them function just as well from a Rocketdock icon has been difficult. It has been a pain to test all the possibilities but eventually I have found a method that works without granting administrator access to Rocketdock.
Microsoft Edge - how to start opening google.co.uk by default:
Create a new blank icon in Rocketdock.
Arguments: "start microsoft-edge:http://google.co.uk"
This should also work on other docks such as o
